Located in Porto Cristo and renowned worldwide for their finesse and their particular arborescent formations. They were the first caves open to the public in Majorca, in 1910. The Caves house inside different lakes being the “Sea of Venice” the greatest of all, where is the musical “Magical Mozart” is offered daily in a special tribute to the famous composer.
Is located in the central Plaza del Carme and its construction took place between 1916 and 1922. The style is Romanesque and is dedicated (as the name implies) to the Mare de Deu del Carme, patron saint of fishermen and sailors. In 1957 it was expanded and completed with a bell tower of the same style. After modification of the apse, it was opened on July the 10th , 1964 and already had its present appearance.
